Virgin Voyages Restaurants: Dining, Menus & Reservations Guide

Explore Virgin Voyages restaurants, ship-specific dining differences, menu sources and practical advice for planning reservations.
Dining at Gunbae aboard Virgin Voyages
Choose meals around the atmosphere you want as well as the cuisine.

Virgin Voyages uses a variety of restaurants and casual eateries instead of a traditional buffet-and-main-dining-room format. Dining is included, but planning still helps when you want a particular restaurant or time.

A quick guide to major restaurants

Restaurant Dining focus Our planning suggestion
The Wake Steak and seafood Consider it for a dinner you want to make an occasion
Pink Agave Mexican-inspired dining Choose it when the cuisine and lively atmosphere appeal
Extra Virgin Italian dining Compare it for a relaxed meal with friends or a partner
Gunbae Korean BBQ Consider it when a social dining experience is the goal
Test Kitchen Experimental, multi-course dining Choose it if you enjoy discovery and a structured meal
The Galley Casual food-market format Keep it in the plan for flexible meals

Dining differs between ships

The Razzle Dazzle space has ship-specific concepts. Current official information highlights Lucky Lotus on Scarlet Lady, Rojo on Brilliant Lady, and Ariya on Valiant Lady. Confirm your sailing’s lineup rather than assuming every ship has the same evening menu.

Our ship guides help you compare those differences. The onboard app and current booking instructions should guide the final reservation plan.

Where to find menus

Virgin’s official dining page provides menu links for its venues. Use those as a current starting point, then confirm the onboard selection. Avoid treating a menu screenshot from an older voyage as a guarantee.

If a particular dish is the reason you want a restaurant, leave room for the possibility that the menu changes. Choosing around the type of experience is usually more reliable.

How to plan reservations

  1. Check your access window. It depends on your reservation details.
  2. Choose your priorities. Decide which meals matter most.
  3. Compare the itinerary. Leave space around long port days.
  4. Coordinate your companions. Agree on party size and preferred times early.
  5. Keep alternatives. Your first-choice time may not be available.

Dietary needs and preferences

Tell the cruise line about allergies and important dietary requirements through the appropriate reservation and onboard channels. A sample menu can help you compare choices, but it does not replace confirming what the kitchen can accommodate.

Our planning recommendation is to identify suitable alternatives before the trip. That gives you flexibility if a preferred venue or time is unavailable.

Do not schedule every meal

Part of the appeal is having options. A casual lunch, a late slice of pizza or a spontaneous meal with someone you meet can be as memorable as a reservation. Leave room for those moments.

Which restaurant is best?

It depends on the occasion. A social dinner, date night and adventurous tasting meal are different goals. Our best restaurants guide recommends where to start for each.
