What makes Scarlet Lady worth a closer look?

Virgin’s ship page lists Caribbean, European and transatlantic examples. That means the same ship can offer very different vacations at different times of year. A short beach-focused trip and a longer crossing need different budgets, packing and transportation plans.

The refresh is a reason to use current information. An older review or deck-plan screenshot may show dining or accommodation details that have changed.

Dining on Scarlet Lady

Lucky Lotus is a Chinese-inspired evening dining experience in the Razzle Dazzle space. Before choosing reservations, check the current menu and hours for your sailing.

Our recommendation is to balance one or two meals you particularly want with casual options and flexible evenings. If an itinerary has a long port day, avoid booking an early dinner purely to complete a restaurant checklist. A relaxed schedule is easier to enjoy.

Choose a cabin with a purpose

Use the current Scarlet Lady deck plan to locate the accommodation you are considering. Check what sits above, below and beside it, then compare view restrictions, occupancy and outdoor space.

Compare the itinerary, not just the destination names

• How many port days and sea days are there?
• How long is the scheduled stop in each destination?
• Does sightseeing require a transfer away from the port?
• Is the voyage roundtrip or does it end in a different city?
• What will flights, hotels and transfers add to the fare?

A familiar port can still be worthwhile if it gives you the beach day or relaxed afternoon you want. A new destination can be less useful if the schedule does not allow the experience you are imagining.

Entertainment and evening planning

Check the app schedule for the voyage rather than expecting every production shown in a previous review. Make room between dinner and evening activities, especially if you want to explore Scarlet Night.
